Hello everyone,

I’m looking for assistance in finding a suitable replacement for two specific Genteq exhaust fan motors and their corresponding run capacitors. I need to source these for an HVAC system repair in Saudi Arabia.

Could you please help me identify a cross-reference or a 100% compatible alternative from DigiKey’s stock for the following components?

Motor 1:

  • Manufacturer: Genteq

  • Model: DE2F090N

  • Specifications: 1/6 HP, 1550 RPM, 115/220V, 50/60Hz, 2.0A, Single Phase

Motor 2:

  • Manufacturer: Genteq

  • Model: DE2G109N

  • Specifications: 1/7 HP, 650-1750 RPM, 115/220V, 50/60Hz, 2.0A, Single Phase

Capacitor (for both motors):

  • Rating: 10 MFD (Microfarad)

  • Voltage: 370VAC or higher

I have attached photos of the original motor nameplates for reference. The most critical factors are the electrical specifications and the physical dimensions (frame size, shaft diameter/length) for a direct replacement.

Any guidance on finding a suitable match in the DigiKey catalog would be greatly appreciated.

Regardless, we don’t seem to have suitable alternates in stock for the motors. The highest wattage we have in stock at 115-220VAC is 35W which is approximately 304mA. As for the capacitor, what kind of capacitor do you need? There are a lot of different styles. Most likely, you’d be looking for a motor starting capacitor, unless you mean something else.
