Motor Run Capacitor

I am looking for capacitor QPC-MEB8 by Vimtronic or something equivalent (8 microfarads, 250 VAC). This is for a Patton fan model TG-1887.

Welcome to the Digikey tech forum we don’t carry the capacitor you show but take a look at Digikey part 493-3783-ND to see if this is something you can fit in as a possible replacement. This is an 8uF, 250vac motor run capacitor with different dimensions and quick connect tabs.

Thanks. The wires I have have currently don’t have the connectors for the quick connect tabs. Are the connectors for the quick connect tabs something I can just buy and attach to the end of the wires?

You can attach a quick connect to the end of the wires, take a look at these quick connect options and verify one will fit for the wire gauge size you have.
