Products in the DC-AC power inverter family are finished goods products used to transform power from a low-voltage DC source (often automotive derived) into a form resembling standard AC utility power and usable for operating most equipment designed to operate from an AC utility power source. They are most often used for operating common consumer equipment in environments where AC utility power is locally or temporarily unavailable.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Indicates if the inverter is also a UPS.
Voltage _ Output: Indicates the maximum output voltage that a device is capable of producing or accommodating, subject to specified limitations or constraints.
Voltage - Input: This rating indicates the nominal amount of voltage you would expect the device to draw during normal operation.
AC Outlets: Indicates the number of standard AC output ports present on a device.
Connector - AC Output: Specifies the connectors used by a device for AC output, in terms of standard designations or description when non-standard connectors are used.
Connector - Voltage Input: Indicates the style of connector used to connect a DC power source to an inverter.
Power - Output Continuous: The amount of power the UPS can continually supply.
Power - Output Surge: The amount of power the UPS can briefly supply.
Remote Capability: Indicates if an inverter has facilities to allow monitoring and control from a location other than at the device itself.
Region Utilized: Indicates the region(s) of the globe to which a product is adapted for use by virtue of the connector style incorporated and/or voltage levels accommodated.
Size: The physical dimensions of the device. Typically length, width, and height.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as battery charger or frequency control.
