Some parts that are discontinued may be removed from the DigiKey search. 2368-1N4007-ND was a valid part before 2024, but has been discontinued since August of 2024. The description for this part is “Diode standard 1000V 1A DO-41.” This is technically enough information to find an alternate, you just have to use the other parameters as a guide if you plan to replace this diode. I personally think 4878-1N4007GPCT-ND (manufacturer part number 1N4007GP) is a decent cross for the part.
What about forward voltage?
Even though the description lacks a forward voltage, most applications already assume a low forward voltage drop. My general rule of thumb is to find the lowest forward voltage drop for all diodes. A lower voltage drop will mean the source voltage won’t change that much for most rectifying purposes. If you want a broader selection, you can look at this list of potential alternates too.
