Something that’s come up a fair number of times is the following scenario: A customer has selected a card edge or edgeboard connector for their application, and now they for one reason or another need to find a mating connector. What does the mate look like?
The answer is the same across series and manufacturer. With rare exception there is not a specified mating connector, though said exceptions can be found here: List of Male Edgeboard Connectors
The issue is that the available thicknesses are limited, and that the vast majority of these parts are non-stock. The only real answer here, in my opinion, is to be mindful in your design and part selection so that you don’t get stuck in this position in the first place.
