Card Edge Connector Housings are contactless connectors designed to be used with card-edge circuit boards. The housings have positions ranging from 2 to 350, accommodate card thicknesses from 0.047” to 0.093”, and have pitch dimensions from 0.024” (0.60 mm) to 0.312” (7.92 mm). They come in both free-hanging and panel-mount versions.
SelectionCharacteristics
Card Type: Indicates whether a product is designed to accommodate contacts on one or both sides of a PC board.
Number of Positions: Indicates the number of distinct conductors presented at a connector’s mating interface.
Card Thickness: The nominal circuit board (card) thickness with which a device is compatible.
Pitch: Indicates the center-to-center spacing between adjacent pins.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as a flange or latch lock.
Mounting Type: Indicates how the device is attached.
Color: The dominant color of the device.
Flange Feature: Describes the design of a part’s mounting flange and the fasteners used in conjunction therewith.
Material - Insulation: Indication of the type of material used in the fabrication of the insulation.
