The Why
In my workspace this printer sits on a standard 4 ft.(1.2M) bench. I am fortunate to have some good downlighting available to me as well. The unfortunate side effect is a reflection of that light on that screen. I was simply not able to see without performing interesting, well, we will call them “posture modifications”.
The Solution
I needed to be able rotate this screen forward some and the provided mount did not provide that functionality. I designed the part below to be unnoticeably different when looking from the front but still add the desired operation.
The Assembly
The bracket attaches using the same screws as the original bracket.
There was some additional hardware.
You will need:
- Pan head screw 3mm X 7.5mm
- Pan head screw 3mm x 25mm
- Nut 3mm
- Washers 3mm (Quantity 3)
- Flat head screw 2.5mm X 5mm (Quantity 2)
The assembly really is pretty self explanatory but I have provided these images to show what the final result should look like.
