Hello
I am looking for a replacement for the EPCOS film capacitor shown in the attached photo. Unfortunately, I have been unable to identify the exact part number, as the capacitor is only marked 250 VAC and no EPCOS part number is visible.
Hello mustafa.fuat,
Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.
The M118175322 would be a part number, but this may be a proprietary number, and DigiKey does not carry that number.
The 75u is 75uf, the K is for 10%, and the 250V~ is for 250VAC.
The closest match I found is part number 399-C4AF1EW5750F3BK-ND.
This one has 4 leads on the bottom.
Please check the datasheet to verify compatibility to your application.
Hello David
Thank you very much for your interest and for your valuable feedback.
I also received feedback from a colleague indicating that the original capacitor part number is B32798G2756J. However, I found that this part number has also been discontinued.
Could you please help me identify the current TDK replacement or successor part number that is still in production and recommended as a replacement for B32798G2756J?
Hello,
The manufacturer didn’t list a replacement or successor to this part. The part David offered, 399-C4AF1EW5750F3BK-ND would be a good option to look at as a possible replacement.
Hello Steve,
Thank you for your recommendation.
After reviewing the specifications, I noticed that the KEMET C4AF1EW5750F3BK is rated at 500 VDC, whereas the original EPCOS B32798G2756J is rated at 630 VDC. In addition, the mechanical dimensions are different, so it cannot be installed directly on the PCB without modification.
Could you please suggest another part number that is a closer match to the B32798G2756J, both electrically and mechanically? Ideally, I am looking for a capacitor with:
- 75 µF
- 250 VAC / 630 VDC
- 57.5 × 35 × 50 mm
- 52.5 mm lead spacing
Any equivalent part that closely matches these specifications would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance for your support.
I’m not able to find a capacitor with an AC voltage rating that matches for this, sorry.
