Development Board Enclosures are designed to hold a specific evaluation platform board. Example evaluation boards include Arduino, Banana Pi, BeagleBone, Raspberry Pi, PandaBoard, and micro:bit to name a few.
SelectionCharacteristics
Container Type: Indicates style/mechanical form factor of an enclosure.
Platform: The evaluation platform board the container is designed to to hold, such as Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or BeagleBone.
Size / Dimension: The physical dimensions of the device. Usually given in Length by Width, in Inches (Millimeters).
Height: The physical height of the box, given in Inches (Millimeters)
Area (L x W): The product of length and width dimensions; “footprint” or “floor space.”
Design: Provides a general description of a product’s geometry or physical form.
Material: The dominant material of the enclosure.
Color: The dominant color of the enclosure.
Thickness: The wall thickness of the enclosure.
Features: These are different capabilities or properties of the device such as display cutout, heatsink, or sealed.
Material Flammability Rating: Ensures compliance with the relevant UL Flammability Rating.
