Hi All,
Looking for this female crimp tin. It’s for the AUX connector for a Subaru Outback, around 2007 to 2009. I believe “B2” is stamped on it.
Ruler numbering represents centimeters. It’s just under 17 mm in length and the socket opening is ~1.5 mm.
I have more pictures but can’t (yet) include more than 3 pics.
Thanks!
Hi @pinhead ,
Click here for a link to the most similar options we carry. Please review datasheet specifications.
Thanks.
Already went through lots of data sheets, but I haven’t been able to find anything that even comes close to original. Perhaps if I could specify dimensional constraints, e.g. length between 15mm and 18mm, etc., that something might show up.
I would like to think the connector harness could provide a lead but it doesn’t seem to have any identifiers. Perhaps there’s something on the female side which I still have to check.
Yeah, unfortunately I wasn’t able to locate the exact one either. Automotive contacts can be hit or miss depending if we carry them or how proprietary they are to the manufacturer.
Ok. Could also be specific to the audio supplier to the car manufacturer. So far I’m not overlooking anything obvious.
For completeness, if nothing more, on the receiving end, which is the housing containing the AUX input, it looks like this:
The lower part of the harness has some characters, which seem to read:
>P..- BF30<
B1-2
- The 2 characters to the right of the P seem to be mangled.
- The triangular shape to the left of B1-2 could be a logo of some sort?
Hello,
Unfortunately I could not identify this one.
