After looking around trying to figure out how I find pairs of JST tins that work together. I wish the site had a better way of showcasing ‘hey this is the corresponding set of connectors that are used with this’ so I could cross check to make sure what I was buying was going to work together. There are a plethora of models, series names, and variables in the naming scheme of each connector. Maybe I am too noob to understand that SPH, and SPNI are so different when I am looking for the male pin and female version of the same thing both being P0.5. I am trying to find the tins used in the JST PH2.0 plug. The same you find on the amazon crimp kits. Problem is the DigiKey search is useless for this task, especially while Aliexpress gets it immediately. I want to buy through DigiKey because I like the service and I feel better that it would be made with better quality material or whatever. Aliexpress has inconsistent shipping etc. But I do not know how to find it, and I cant really confirm whether it is even listed, it could not exist I would have no idea because searching for things is very complex. If someone could point me to the male pin version for wire to wire connections it would be appreciated. I did manage to get the female version (455-1127-100-ND)
Thanks!
Oh and I am also buying these to work with existing connectors that I already have. But I dont know what the technical part number is as they are an Amazon source (said kit). It doesn’t really help looking around for JST PH2.0 as there are variants of the connector type or something I don’t yet understand.

I understand that trying to find the specific connector that is similar to the ones from a kit from from Amazon can be tricky as in most cases they would not reference the manufacturer item numbering at all or even the series name correctly either.
For the PH2.0 you reference I would think that would be the PH series we list that are 2.00mm.
An example item would be PHR-2
For that item we do list near the bottom the Associated Products for it which include the contact s that can be used as well as options where we have already crimped some wire on if needed.
We also do list he manufacturer recommended mates for that too.
As for the general quest to find the specific JST connector that can be a bit tricky too a JST does indeed have a fair few very similar items.
If you have the images of the item you are looking to replace and mate to we can take a look to see if we can assist in matching up to what you have on hand.
Sorry for the late reply. I took some of the best photos I could of the connector. Hopefully you or someone else can recognize it easier than me. I would imagine its common maybe, but I am not sure. Not many cases where I see a wire to wire JST setup versus PCB mounted sockets.
