Thermal Heat Pipes or Vapor Chambers are devices that transfers heat between two interfaces with the liquid heating to a vapor on the hot interface and traveling to the cold interface and turning back to a liquid. The shapes are flat, rectangular, round, and square with power cooling, thermal resistance, and wick type being their identity.
Type: Indicates the style and configuration of the device.
Attachment Method: Indicates the intended mechanical attachment mechanism(s) for the device.
Shape: Indicates the shape of the device.
Power - Cooling: Indicates a device’s rated maximum cooling capacity, under manufacturer-defined test conditions.
Thermal Resistance: Indicates the calculated resistance to heat transfer under manufacturer specified conditions.
Wick Type: Indicates what type of wick is used.
Length: Indicates the overall length of the part.
Width: Indicates the overall width of the part.
Height: Indicates the overall height of the part.
Diameter: Indicates the overall diameter of the part.
Operating Temperature: Recommended operating temperature, typically given in a range or as a maximum. Exceeding these temperatures may affect performance or damage the device and other system components.
Material: Indicates the material composition of the device.
Platform: Indicates a standardized set of products, hardware form factor, and/or interconnect specification with which a product is intended for use or intended to be compatible.
