In regards to this photo it is hard to tell if the diode is placed properly, although if this is how you received it from the MFG then it should be placed in the right direction. Many electronics devices that are manufactured today like a Television use custom runs of products which makes finding replacement parts difficult. I am not able to identify the part via the part markings. Do you have any additional information that may help in providing an alternate?

Thanks, This diode is mounted on the circuit board and is shorted.
That’s why I needed to see if anyone can ID the symbol notating the manufacture & maybe they would know the part number or the datasheet so I can cross it to a replacement.
