I have an automotive ecu where the pictured diode was blown. The one next to it and also in other places on the board is marked SG 8A. I want to replace it with one of these and hope it’s correct. I have attached a pic.
Can I ask for some help please in picking the correct specd replacement.

I think the part number could be S1G-E3/61T on this link:
The part marking is the SG.
The 8A appears to be the date code if you follow the format on this link: https://www.vishay.com/docs/88912/diodesgroupbodymarking.pdf
I know it is the Vishay logo . We can see if anyone else thinks this is something else. You can sure measure to see if the dimensions are correct.
