Help to identify component

I have a scooter controller that is not turn on
I’m focusing on the power portion, because the microprocessor is not receiving any voltage
I detected this component in the picture that seems to be a step down converter, however i didn’t find any datasheet with pins like this
This is my first post … trying to find how to upload pictures

Thank you for your inquiry.

Can you provide a picture of the part in question or describe the part markings on it?

Thanks for the reply … on the board picture, if you magnify it on left bottom corner you will see the component, is hard to find any marking, but while using the microscope, seems to random letter, … on the picture is it note on red color …I’m not 100% sure if those are the correct letter, because is hard to see even using microscope.

Strange is that i didn’t find any component with that arrangement for the PINs … 1 GND, 2Vin … these 2 pins comes from the capacitor on the side of the component, so easy to follow the track, 3 seems to be NC, 4 seems to be like a EN pin because it comes from the capacitor after passthrough a resistor 1.3M and 5 seems to be FB because has a resistor divider because has 1 resistor connected to the output and other connect to the GND, 8 seems to be the FB is it goes to the inductor

Sorry I mean 8 seems to be the SW as it goes to the inductor

Hi, easfreitas.

It is a SY8502FCC.

Thanks a lot, my next point of debug will be to discover if the PIN 3 what should be the EN, (steady of 4 as I was thinking wrongly), is receiving 1.2v as per datasheet as it seems not connect to anywhere but seems that I’m missing something here on this portion. If not receiving 1.2v I will try to inject 1.2v with a very low amp (let say 1milli amp) and see if it turn on … thanks for now … I will do the tests tonight
