Help to identify Resettable fuse

Hi.

1 of the component on my claw machine motherboard is blown (as shown in picture).

I think it is a resettable or self recovery fuse.

It is labelled:

  • DX8G China
  • BLDZ Mexico

I am unable to find any information on the web with that information and would really appreciate it if someone can help me on this issue.

Thanks-in-advance!!

Hi @hengtoo ,

That is like a resettable fuse, which has outlived his last reset.

You can temporarily replace it with a thin jumper wire in order to test if there is something else malfunctioning (as surely is, as the annihilation of that part rarely is the source of the problem, but rather it is a consequence).
Cheers, heke

Hi. Appreciate the reply!! It is indeed a fuse!

I had the machine on before this post and also before realizing that the fuse was blown!

The machine works normally except that it doesn’t “grab” (ie the claw doesn’t close when it goes down) so i guess it’s the fuse for that.

Searching on poly fuse, there is a bunch of different ratings (ie amp and voltage) for them. Would you by any chance know what i should go for?

I can take out the working fuse next to it but do not know how to measure poly fuse.

Refering to some earlier pictures, i realized that there is another marking.

Attached is the picture. The picture is not clear and I’ll post a better picture when i remove it later in the day.

Took out the motherboard and turns out to be a pptc resettable 30V 3A fuse to help out those in the future.

Thank you to all the responders for the leads =)
