i need clips for a ground cable that is around 4mm2can you help me find it

Hi @isajosefson12 ,

4mm2 translates to 2.3mm diameter.

Section “B” of the clip can handle that. Section “A” is “close”.

Please explain your case. Have you already attempted to use the clip or just doing a pre-evaluation? I’d say, just buy a few of them and judge by testing.

Cheers, heke

This is wat I was using before this was perfect for a 4mm cable, I need a similarly item a ground clip that would fit like this, could you please try to link a few? We bought the 24-20 one but it’s to small

Hi @isajosefson12 ,

Tack så mycket. Is it correct to assume that the USB-C look-alike cable in the picture is not relevant here? The clip seems to have 45deg angle between the contact part and the crimp part. Is that required? What is the thickness of the panel that the clip will attach to?

Cheers, heke

We have a limited amount of Grounding Clips found here.

Nothing that I’m finding close to 4mm2 which translates to about 11AWG

I need a clamp that can hold a 4 mm2 cable. Do you have a larger clamp?

Nothing that I’m seeing considered a Grounding Clip in that size wire.

Hi @isajosefson12 ,

Sorry, haven’t been able to find an exact match.

It would help if you could describe the application and constrains (a few photos of the target would help too). I suspect that there are not so many such clips on market, as 4mm2 cable suggests such large currents that a clip contact is simply not providing good enough contact in most cases.

If you could use “Abiko” connectors, then you may consider a clip with blade terminal, such as this:
