Hole plugs are devices made to insert into holes in a panel or board opening. They are available in brass, nylon, polyamide, PVC, silicon, steel, and thermoplastic, and are available solid or vented. They are specified by the diameter of the hole that needs to be plugged and the thickness of the panel or wall it will be inserted into. Multiple color options are available.
SelectionCharacteristics
Type: Indicates the physical form or structure of the plug.
Color: The dominant color of the plug.
Material: Indicates the material composition of the plug.
Hole Diameter: Indicates the diameter of the hole the plug is designed to fill.
Flange Diameter: The diameter of a geometric feature designed to prevent a product from passing completely through a properly-sized mounting hole. Often the largest diametric dimension of a product.
Diameter - Inside: The innermost dimension for the part.
Diameter - Outside: The outermost dimension for the part.
Panel Thickness: Indicates the thickness of an enclosure wall or similar planar surface into which a device is intended to mount. May be unspecified for products having a geometry that is insensitive to this dimension.
