Honeywell Transducer MM100PG1QA Replacement

I’m trying to replace an old Honeywell Transducer and have been struggling to find a suitable unit that works.

My Transducer is a 4 wire MM100PG1QA connected to a Vision Microsystems DPU.

I would like to verify if the M3421-000006-100PG will work as a replacement for the Honeywell Part or please point me to a product that will.

Thanks

Millivolt bridge 4 wire (two-wire output) 100 PSI 1/8 in - 27 NPT

Supply voltage: 5.0 Vdc, 6.0 Vdc max.

Signal conditioning: Unamplified compensated

Operating temperature range: -40 °C to 100 °C (-40 °F to 212 °F)

Compensated temperature range: -1 °C to 82 °C (30 °F to 180 °F)

Output type: 0 mV to 50 mV (Unamplified millivolt-output)

Measurement type: Gauge

Greetings,

We at DigiKey are able to discuss differences among products and their potential effects, but deciding whether or not a given item is suitable (or adaptable) for the purposes you intend will be your responsibility at day’s end.

Major differences between the two items mentioned (aside from the connector/interface) are a 2x difference in sensitivity, difference in wetted materials, and for the proposed replacement, narrower temperature ranges and burst pressure rating.

The sensitivity is likely to be the major obstacle to use if you’ve no ability to compensate for it; a 2x difference in reading seems likely to be important.

The difference in wetted material may or may not matter, depending on the chemical nature of the working fluid. Temp ranges may or may not of of concern to depending on the working environment, and burst pressure is the sort of thing that one hopes will remain irrelevant, though a 2x difference in that figure could be of interest on a bad day.

The 50mV@5V output range seems to be the less-common trait of the reference device that’s limiting options for potential replacements. If you’d care to explain the application and any dimensions of flexibility that it may have, that information may open up some additional options.

Thanks for the response. Firstly, I’m open to any 4 wire 100 PSI Oil Pressure Transducer that will replace the Honeywell MM100PG1QA. This connects to the Vision Microsystems EPI-800 Engine Monitoring System. The 4 wire and mVDC unAmplified output seems particularly important to this system as well as the 5.0vDC Input. Signal conditioning: Unamplified compensated

The below link shows the items I was able to find. I am not seeing an option that would fit the above listed specification. It would seem that 50mV spec would be an issue for searching for options.
As even these are 100mVs
