I am trying to replace what I believe is a bad thermistor in an e-bike charger:
All that is printed on the thermistor is “NTC 5D-13”. From doing some research, I think the 5 means 5 ohms, and the 13 means 13mm. But I have no idea (and no idea how to get) any other specs for the part (e.g. how much current it needs to handle). From browsing DigiKey, I think maybe this part would be sufficient, but I’m not sure:
If anyone has any advice (as well as any tips about soldering the part to the board without damaging it), I’d be happy to hear.
