Where Do I Find Documentation ?
In this instance, the engineering documentation is found at this link. If you click “Technical Documentation” it will bring you down to where you can find the Engineering Resources. You will want to click the first item that says ATA 3W Technical Reference Note. Page 6 indicates how to use the remote on/off function. You need a separate power source between 2.5 to 5.5V to turn it on and -0.7 to 0.8V to turn it off.
Special Note
You do not need to connect this pin by default to ground. Leave it floating if you don’t want to use the function. If you do connect it to ground, it will probably detect it as 0V forcing to turn it off. The remote pin is expecting a reference, leaving it floating will basically be the same as “default mode” where it operates without the remote sense function.
