I need to find this transistor. The marking on it is 2510 3K02. This is a power supply to a compute

That part might be H5N2510DL from Renesas. Here is the datasheet https://www.renesas.com/en/document/dst/h5n2510dl-h5n2510ds-datasheet?r=1339571. They don’t list the part marking info, so I was unable to make sure its correct. However, based on their part marking guide https://www.renesas.com/en/document/tcu/pcn-marking-power-transistors, the 2501 should call out that part.

This is the reading from a other one that is on the pcb. Is this the correct part H5N2510DS ? And if so do you have it ? I see you got the H5N2510DSTL-E on the DigiKey browser

Hello @Blurry82,

I’m glad you provided that test as it put one of my questions to rest. I was concerned we were dealing with a linear regulator, but that is not the case.

At this point we need to find a suitable replacement available in single quantities. May I recommend you consider these candidates:

Be sure to verify the datasheet electrical and mechanical specifications.

Happy soldering,

APDahlen

P.S. Please let us know if you were successful.

These are the ratings on the backside of the computer

Thank you @Blurry82,

Unfortunately, I am unable to cross a power supply to a given PC.

How I wish schematics were freely available.

Sincerely,

Aaron
