Identify connector for mobility scooter motor

I am trying to replace the four-pin power connector on a wiring loom in my wife’s mobility scooter, Pride Mobility part number ELEASMB5687, shown in the first picture below (from the Monster Scooter Parts Web site). The broken connector on the scooter is shown (with the wiring attached) in the second picture below.

Pride Mobility won’t disclose the OEM information for this component, so I’m hoping DigiKey can help!

Hi Kelsey,

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.

That is going to be tricky to find. It doesn’t look like we carry this connector from what I was able to find. Those positions look to be staggered within, I haven’t seen a 4 position housing similar to this. It may be proprietary from the looks of it.

I did find it on Monster Scooter parts website as part of an assembly:
Complete 50 Amp Dynamic R-Series V2.07 Controller Assembly for the Go- – Monster Scooter Parts

But they don’t list a part number, nor if it can be obtained separately from the assembly.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Hopefully someone on this forum can recognize it and point you in the right direction.

Warm regards,

Thank you very much, Irfan! Yeah, it’s part of multiple assemblies for the Pride scooters (including their Victory and Go-Go lines). I did find it on Monster as a separate piece, Motor and Brake Connector Assembly for the Go-Go Elite Traveller, Prid – Monster Scooter Parts, but they’re saying it’s out of stock.

I was hoping it was an off-the-shelf OEM part (and DigiKey’s always been my work go-to for those). I wonder if it might be from the “automotive world” rather than electronics?

Best regards,
Mike Kelsey

After more searching, I was able to find the OEM connector (without a whole wiring harness kit) through Mobility Direct: https://www.mobilityscootersdirect.com/pride-mobility/pride-victory-9-10motor-and-brake-connector-assembly.html
