We need to use Igus CF112-05-02-02 cable with the Deutsch DT06-6S connectors. I need to know what the diameter of the individual wires in the cable are so I can ensure the connector seals on them. Unfortunately, it’s not listed on the datasheet.
UL10493 defines the minimum jacket thickness for the internal wires.
-From what I was able to find it would be 0.04" thick.
20AWG ~0.032" diameter.
Which would mean that these would be ~0.072" diameter each.
Oh, thank you! I always assume thickness would be dependent on insulation type of plastic.
However, wouldn’t that add up to 0.112" adding the thickness twice for each side of the wire?
Correct, sorry.
