Hello,
I’m just a hobbyist, so I will apologize in advance for my ignorance. I would like to find a replacement for a transistor found on a Whirlpool Duet Motor Control Board. It powers a three phase induction motor along with 6 other brothers and sisters and a GBU8J bridge rectifier. This part has a short and is arching apparently.
Brand: Infineon
Part Markings: K06N60
Part Additional Marking: GCB514
Tiny Circle: PWIL OT
Form Factor: TO-220 FullPAK TO-220-3-31
This image is of the actual part that is damaged.
I am making the assumption that Google found the correct data sheet and the actual part number is SKA06N60. From my research, I get the feeling the K06N60 has had many variations with differing form and revision so I am not confident the SKA06N60 is even the original part number from ~2004.
I think one of the following is very similar but VCE(sat) seems to differ or I just don’t know enough to understand the data sheet.
Part: IKA06N60TXKSA1
Part: [SKA06N60XKSA1] - as a newb I can’t have all these links on the forum.
Data Sheet of what I presume is the part:

As this is going in a household appliance, I would prefer to error on the side of caution.
