I am looking for simple LCD display to use as variable area reflector. Proof of concept project. Can use single digit display, but need to access segments directly with no controller. Are there 2 pin lcd components which are single segment?

The only single digit LCD display, is part number 5491-OD-103T-ND. The Datasheet has the pinout for each section of the display.
Please check the datasheet to help verify compatibility to your application.
