LED indicator does not list voltage or electrical data

Part 277-1082299-ND, here:

Part link

This part does not list voltage or any other electrical data for the indicator LEDs. Manufacturer offers no additional information either. What is the deal here?

Thanks.

Hello @colin.reese,

Welcome to the TechForum,

Here is the typical data for the HS LCA-RGB-10X5-L derived from Phoenix Contact the HS LC… Light guides .pdf.

  • Red: 2.0 VDC
  • Green: 3.5 VDC
  • Blue: 3.5 VDC

Best wishes.

Just to clarify why the part page shows no relevant data, this particular part has been categorized as a box accessory. This particular category doesn’t have the same filters as the LED specifications. We can look into putting it in a different category.

As for the datasheet, Phoenix has a different way of generating the general details about parts. If you go to their website and search for the part number 1082299, you will get the same information seen in the download available on the DigiKey page. This is generated automatically when one presses the “Show Product Details” link under the “Add To Cart” button. Phoenix actually does have detailed technical datasheets on the site as APDahlen mentioned.

Thank you both for the helpful replies.

First, this is a non-standard and (in my opinion) bizarre way of doing this. I should be able to get a single datasheet from the page where the item is sold, or at least on the product description page on the manufacturer’s website. It should have all relevant electrical and specification information on it.

Second, the description of this product against the page you provided up there is even more disappointing. Typically, when a panel-mount component has an IP rating, it is for the combination of the component and the installed environment, provided it is installed per the manufacturer’s recommendation. In this case, that would most often be a rubber gasket and a threaded nut from the backside. I’m not sure why anybody would care that the indicator itself is IP68, when they suggest a dry fit in an 8mm hole. Weird stuff.

Thanks again.
