Looking for a replacement part for PN A6821EA-T

------Question for A6821EA-T Please Put your question below------

Hello @renee.fedore,

Sadly, it looks like the entire Allegro line is listed as either obsolete or not recommended for new designs.

With respect to the Allegro A6821EA-T, I do see limited quantities from other sources.

This may be one of those situations where you purchase your lifetime supply or cross your fingers and hope that the OEM will restart production.

Sincerely,

APDahlen

Hello renee.fedore,

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.

I agree with APDahlen, that the best option will be to find remaining stock of that part number.

The closest option in our system, is 576-1310-ND, but the input voltage is 4.5V~15V, and the original part was 3V~5.5V. The major problem is the pinout, which is totally different. So it may have the same functions, but it will not be a drop-in replacement.

Please check the datasheet to verify compatibility to your application.

Hi @renee.fedore

You might want to directly forward your concern to Allegro and provide them the details of your application so that they can recommend you an alternative part.

You can use their sales contact form found on their website. Allegro MicroSystems | Innovation with Purpose It is the green button thing with “Sales” In its text

Hi renee.fedore,

The MIC5842YN is a very similar part, including the pin-out arrangement, though not quite identical, so some modification would need to be done.

The MIC5822YN looks to be practically identical, including pinout, but it is out of stock at the moment. However, that might be an additional part number one can look for.
