Hi there,
I have a shorted out Mosfet on a laptop and on it 36308 NA4F1V. This looks like it’s led me to this https://www.digikey.com/en/products/detail/alpha-omega-semiconductor-inc/AONS36308/13211349
I am not 100% sure if this is correct, and if so, is there a different replacement mosfet I could get instead as I’m not going to buy 3000 of these.
Welcome back to the TechForum KyleStilkey! Is there any way you can get a picture of the chip for confirmation? It does seem that’s the only thing that came up in reference with Google’s AI search. This can sometimes lead to good results, but can be misleading other times. Does it look like the IC in the picture?
Picture of it won’t change the code on the chips it’s the exact same, that’s why I’m asking if I can use an alternative as I’m not buying 3000.
I apologize, I meant to ask if this matched the design you had. Regardless, I looked for an alternate, but it looks like we don’t have a suitable alternate with enough current carrying capacity with the exact same package. I would not recommend a lower rated continuous drain current capacity.
There may be some alternates that we have that use a 8-DFN rather than an 8-DFN-EP. The drawing for the layout is here. Click here to see the options I found with this package.
I offer for your consideration AONS36306 as a suitable direct alternative for this part.
Thanks I will give this a shot, wasn’t 100% sure if that would be but I will get some ordered. Thanks!

It’s all good, I just read it wrong and was confused, yes it’s the same exact part. It looks like a 36306 was suggested as a alternative which I have ordered and hope this resolves the issue. Thanks!
