I previously used the Meder CRR05-1A for it’s good isolation resistance. As can be seen in the datasheet on DigiKey it state 100Gohm insulation resistance minimum and 1000Gohm typical.

Recently i found a New Datasheet on the Standex website, which to my surprise states a typical insulation resistance of only 1Gohm. That’s 1000x less than the previous datasheet stated.

Since this is a significant change for my usage, I wondered if DigiKey already knows this and will ensure that they provide old stock with the higher insulation resistance while the old datasheet is still present, or that the datasheet should simply be updated.

Also any advice on potential replacements? I’m afraid nothing with the same footprint right?

There is no coordination between the datasheet revision that is currently referenced, and production dates of inventory on hand.

In general, issuance of a change notice is expected when alterations are made to an item in current production, particularly if it results in an adverse change in product specification. I see none here, but any explanation on my part would simply be speculation.

Listings for 5V SMT 1FormA products are here. Naturally, none with the same footprint. Coto 9900 might’ve been a similar size, but it’s showing as NRND.
