My brand new xbee radio has no boot loader

i cannot access or program my Brand new xbee radio and xctu tells me there is no active boot loader.
what can i do to correct this?

Hi @Zak that seems very odd. Which XBee are you dealing with, and what device are you using connect it to USB to your machine?

Normally this would happen if firmware was being updated and there was an interruption of the connection during update and the firmware has become corrupted.
