Need replacements for 2 obscure transistors

For a repair job, we are needing to replace 2 very rare transistors made by Secos. The original numbers are:
SECOS 8050SST-C-BP
NPN,1.5A,25V,TO-92,VCE(sat)=0.5V,Pd=1W,hfe=120-200

SECOS 8550SST-C-BP
PNP,-1.5A,-25V,TO-92,VCE(sat)=-0.5V,Pd=1W,hfe=120-200

I did find datasheets for these transistors here:
https://www.alldatasheet.net/datasheet-pdf/download/419588/SECOS/8050SST.html
and

I can’t find much information other than this. Is there any kind of substitute available?
Thanks in advance,
Greg

Hello Hardcore_Electronics,

I was able to find SS8050CBU-ND for an NPN and SS8550CBU-ND
for a PNP that do appear like they would work as a substitute for you.

Hello @Hardcore_Electronics,

The unique suffix and prefix can make the parts search difficult. Recommend searching using keywords such as “8050 BJT”. This will return all related family members and variants. You will then need to carefully select based on the case style and the various parameters to eliminate the wildcard components.

BTW, this is an impressive transistor. The 1.5 A rating for a TO-92 packaged device is unusual.

Best wishes,

Thanks to both APDahlen and nick_13812! I appreciate the time and research you both put into this. I have ordered the parts that Nick suggested. And you’re right, APDahlen, the power rating of this TO-92 is incredible, which is why it was a daunting task for me to locate a substitute.
Again, thanks to both of you for your help.
