Hello I work in telecom field and use SFP interconnect. for my testing, I would like to power up an SFP to verify that it outputs light before putting it into my system. I am wondering if a unit like Amphenol C-GMC-SFP would serve my purpose. I do not need to encode data, just output light form the SFP. If this would only work by having a signal input from the Ethernet port, is there a simple way to give that signal? Thanks
