Is there any example how to use Ethernet on this kit?
Thanks,

Hello Giggich,
I guess you’ve already come across this thread?
Not really a guide, but some source code and information to get you started. Maybe you could even contact the person who solved the Ethernet?
Cheers,
T.
Could any recommend a connector for J7 on the M2S010-MKR-KIT? This 8-pin connector is not installed on the board. Thank you.
Hello @rsk,
I did talk with the engineer who worked with this board and It doesn’t look like it has any special uses in the schematic so any old 0.1” dual row header should do the trick.

Thank you Robert for confirming that information.
Can you please tell me what free(?) license I want to use with this board? I know that I need a Node Locked license for Windows but, it seems to be only good for 60 days? Can it be renewed? Many thanks in advance.
HI @jbranthoover for this board, all you need is the Free Silver license, by defualt it’s good for a 1 year.

Once you register, in a years time you should be able to renew it thru Microsemi’s portal.
Regards,
Thanks for getting back to me. I just registered my hard drive’s volume ID that I obtained from the “Microsemi License Utility” located in the installed software.
Here is a complication, lol. I mistakenly registered a 60 day license for a “Libero Evaluation Floating License for Windows or Linux Server”. I realize that this is not what I wanted to do. How do I undo this. I think that the license system has me locked out. What should I do at this point? I am sorry for all of the silliness that I have caused myself. Thank you for your time.
I’m sure inside Microchip’s license portal they can fix that for you, in 60 days…
Regards,
