tmagdahl, welcome back to the TechForum! The link does lead to the manufacturer site which does have a specification sheet. I am not sure I can provide the direct link because the document says “Confidential Document”. Please find the document on this page:

Thanks for the response.

I only thought that the absence of a datasheet was a coordination error.

Never understood why some companies are so secretive about datasheets. You either provide them because you do not want to “lose” the attention of the person that came across your product, by a search combination or the product is top-secret and a NDA must be in place (which I can understand), but for a 7 segment display I do not see the point. In this case I was only looking for curiosity sakes (maybe to be used in the future), but if I was trying to solve a requirement for a project, they would have lost me.

I am not willing to contact them, having no sourcing prospect.

p.s.

One thing I appreciate of your website are the presentations of new items on your landing page (I imagine either triggered by a manufacturer request or by DigiKey). That is an exceptional “opportunity” for those products from thousands in that family, so to fail to provide information about the product if the viewer gets some interest, lacks a reasonable explanation to me, and defeats the initiative, and it happens very often.

The datasheet is there and available, no need to contact them. I am indicating I’m not sure I can link it. I don’t know what kind of regulation they have for it. It seems odd to me they label it confidential but then have it as a public link.
