OSRAM LED cathode/anode alignment

I’m currently working with OSRAM’s SYNIOS® S2222 series of LEDs, and noticing some inconsistencies in the data sheets across colors. In particular, when I look at the blue LED’s data sheet, I see the following dimensional drawing on page 11 (package marking and larger pad is cathode):

When I look at the red LED’s data sheet, however, I see a different dimensional drawing on page 11 (package marking and larger pad is anode):

Is this difference accurate? The “taping” section on pages 14 of the data sheets is consistent in both data sheets, so that makes me think it is, but it seems odd for the same package to have separate anode/cathode alignment, so I wanted to double check.

That variance would be profoundly inconvenient from a user standpoint, but the datasheets do constitute the public specification for their respective devices. I’d take them at face value, and validate with samples if I wanted to reassure myself.

Sounds like a plan, I appreciate it @rick_1976.
