PCB Edge Connector

Hello, I am looking for a part reference for PCB board edge connector (female friction fit) with screw terminals for wire leads for power and indication.

The connector requires 8-Pin 3.9mm Pitch Pluggable Screw Terminal Block Connector. Any help is appreciated.

Hi @sd.sword ,

The pitch is probably 3.81mm.

Any chance to provide a photo?

Cheers, heke

This is more of what I am looking for. The pic with ruler is the PCB edge.(first pic) I would prefer the connector to be a friction fit (non pin solder type) with screw terminals. (Third pic) Second choice would be a 2 piece pin solder to board with the removable plug w/ screw terminals.(second pic)

Hi @sd.sword ,

Thank you for the pics.

I am sorry, haven’t seen such a connector. Edge connectors are reliable only if they are mechanically secured, thus edge-to-flywire type adapter is hard to find. There are some with solder lugs instead of screw terminals, but even those require mounting to chassis etc.

Probably you will need to build an adapter like in fig. 3 above.

Cheers, heke

Hello,
Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum. I wasn’t able to find an edge connector with screw terminals to offer for this either.

Thanks all for the assist, appreciated.

I have a couple options but they are not real cost effective.

Thanks again.
