Does the 4 pin Power DIN connector on this power supply have a locking mechanism? Some power supplies with this connector rely just on the sheer friction locking, but some have a moving housing which releases the locking mechanism.

The 4 pin DIN connector on this power supply, will not have a locking mechanism.
It is simply a push-in / pull-out connector, held in by the friction of the connector and contacts.
Ok, thank you! I think at least GST220A24-R7B has the locking mechanism. At least based on the picture. Or can you confirm this?

Yes, according to its datasheet, the GST220A24-R7B does use the locking type 4-pin Power DIN connector.
