This is a short article to explain how to find the proper L3 Narda Miteq LNA.
There are four questions that need to be answered:
- Pick the correct frequency in GHz
- Pick the proper gain level in dBm
- Pick the appropriate Noise Figure (dB)
- Power output (in dBm)
On the amplifier search, it is not necessary to fill in all parameters. The noise temperature in kelvin will be much more applicable to satcom engineers, if you don’t know what that number is going to be don’t worry about it.
This works like the Digi-Key search engine, it will give you as many results as have NOT BEEN FILTERED OUT.
