Please help identify component

Hi all at digikey forums, I’ve got a request… Could anyone please identify the component (arrowed)???, There is no circuit board I.D marked and nothing on any of my schematics. The component is on an old analog oscilloscope (Farnell DTV40)… There are many of these components dotted all over the various boards but no mention of anything anywhere,!!..??. no markings, or reference at all…
Thanks for any help anyone can give…

Hello stagg292,

These look like a standard zero ohm jumper resistor.

Something similar to 0.0QBK-ND.

The closest example I found with a blue body is part number BC3910CT-ND.

For decoding the resistor bands, the single black band decodes to 0.

So these can be replaced with another zero ohm resistor, or just a straight piece of wire.

An example would be JW60ZT0R00CT-ND, or any extra lead wires you have available.

Hi david, thank you so much for that, such a quick response !!! , thanks , certainly had me scratching my head for a long time, now i know for the future
I’m learning all the time.. I guess they would just measure as continuity..?
Thanks again
Richard

Yes, if the part shows continuity through it, it would be good. They are just another way to put a jumper across 2 points. Good luck with the projects.

Hi, thanks again David, making great headway , and learning all the time, have a great day and thanks for your help.
Richard

Anytime. Glad to help.
