Plz recommend ref to learn to solder these connectors

My project is video surveillance power supplies. I have bought barrel connectors both male and female. Male Digikey part number is CP3-1000-ND. Female Digikey part number is CP-024A-ND.

I want to learn to solder these correctly. Are there youtube videos? Is there a book I should buy? What is the terminology for the various parts of the connector? rick_1976
