Reels/Tape - Continuous Length

Regarding this product and other products sold in reels/tape. Is it standard practice to send cut tape on 1 continuous length? In other words, we want to make sure when we’re purchasing tape that DigiKey isn’t sending multiple tapes to fulfill our order qty. This question pertains to when our purchase is less than a full a reel.

Welcome to the DigiKey TechForum.

When you place the order, you can request the part number to be a continuous strip, and it should be packaged that way, if available.

You can also order it as a Digi-Reel, which it is put on a reel, with an added Leader and trailer, and will be a single strip.

There are times when the stock we have, can not be filled as a single strip.
