Remote switch with wired transmitter 12 vdc

I a looking for a 12 vdc wired transmitter that will operate a remote on/off 12vdc switch.
I will switch the power to the transmitter

Thanks for the recommendation. However I am looking for a transmitter that is actuated when a 12 volt current is applied. The transmitter then causes a switch to operate for a different circuit.
