Hello everyone, I have 2 resistors. One is a 425ohm 5w resistor, and a 4kohm 7w resistor. However, I’m not sure where I can find a replacement 425ohm 5w resistor and a 4kohm 7w resistor. Or is there a good equivalent option I can use in place of those 2. Thanks.
I was able to locate some good alternates that should work well as i am finding this series is requiring a high minimum quantity to order.
WW2 resistor options, all seem to have minimum quantities.
425Ohm 5W alternates in stock, no minimum quantities.
For the 425 ohm 5w resistor, my multimeter reads the resistance as 457. Do you know what causes the resistors to be higher than the expected 425 ohms?
For 4000 ohm resistor. If I put in a 4000ohm 10watt resistor in place of the 4000ohm 7watt resistor, would it hurt anything in the board? Same for putting in a 430ohm 10watt resistor in place of a 425ohm 5w resistor if it would hurt anything in the board.
