I have a computer that is connected to my control panel using a RS232 cable. I would like to get rid of the cable and go wireless. Is there a setup you could recommend for this?

I was looking at the Digi XM-M92-2P-UA I just wasn’t sure if I needed a receiver and a transmitter? Or one unit for each side where I am replacing the cable at?

Going that route a person would need one unit for either end, yes.
If the distance is less than a couple hundred feet a serial to Bluetooth adapter can work well. There used to be a bunch on the market but now there are not that many to choose from. The one I own is from a company that went out of business.
