RF Receiver, Transmitter, and Transceiver Finished Units are used to send and/or take in a radio frequency signal. The functions include access point, adapter, analog to wireless converter, controller, digital I/O, digital receiver, Ethernet, gateway, magnetic base antenna, modem, modulator/demodulator, receiver, relay switch, remote control system, router, sensor, software defined radio, switch, transceiver, transmitter, transmitter and receiver set, wireless lighting controller, and 2 transceivers.
SelectionCharacteristics
Function: Narrows the selection to product described by device type and their intended use.
Modulation or Protocol: Indicates the communication standard(s) or RF modulation techniques supported or employed by a device.
Frequency: The frequency or frequencies this product is designed to be compatible.
Applications: Narrows selection to products that fit applications that are described by their technology utilized
Interface: This is references the method of interaction or communication used to interact with the device. This can be interfaced by hardware, software, networking, as well as physically by a user.
Sensitivity: This references how the product receives radio frequencies. Measured in dBm, the lower the number the more sensitive the product tends to be.
Power - Output: This rating refers to the amount of energy used to transmit an RF signal in a specific amount of time.
Data Rate (Max): Characterizes the maximum rate at which information can be transmitted or received by a device. Does not necessarily refer to throughput rate for user data, see device datasheets for further information.
Features: Identifies important product attributes that are instrumental in finding a suitable selection.
