O-Rings are a type of gasket used to create a seal between two or more parts. These can be filtered by material, nominal inner dimension, cross-section shape, inner and outer diameter, hardness, color, operating temperature, and more. For custom O-Rings, see Cord Stock.
SelectionCharacteristics
Material: Indicates the material composition of the o-ring.
Dash Number: A numerical assignment that represents the ID, OD, and cross-sectional diameter consistent with Standard AS568A
Nominal I.D.: The nominal diameter of the inside of the O-ring.
Cross Section Shape: Indicates the shape of the ring when viewed as a cross-section.
Diameter - Inside: Indicates the diameter of the inside of the O-ring.
Diameter - Outside: Indicates the diameter of the outside of the O-ring.
Width/Cross Section: The width of the cross section of the seal.
Color: The dominant color of the o-ring.
Hardness: Indicates typical material hardness and measurement scale. Higher numbers within a scale correlate to harder/firmer material.
Operating Temperature: Recommended operating temperature, typically given in a range or as a maximum. Exceeding these temperatures may affect performance or damage the device and other system components.
