ACHS-7125 is a fully integrated Hall-Effect-based Linear Current Sensor from Broadcom. Does ACHS-7125 measure low current around 0.5A under optimized accuracy range?
Looking at the datasheet, its zero current output error is +/-20mV at room temperature.
At 0.5A, the output will be 20mV above the common mode voltage 2.5V. But since the offset error is also 20mV, the output will be masked off as offset error.
If the maximum sensing current is not more then 40A, ACHS-7121, ACHS-7122 or ACHS-7123 will be better choice because of better sensitivity.
