Sierra Wireless GL7611 SMS over 4G IMS

With the 3G shutdown here in Australia at the end of this month by Telstra and Optus we need to get out automation service that sends and receives messages to/from clients to work on the newly purchased GL7611 units which are currently working now but in fallback mode. Tried to contact Semtech support but they advised me to come back here since they were purchased from here. Connected via serial and got the following output.
