Sierra Wireless GL7500 -purchased new from DigiKey
Verizon- version Firmware correct-up to date.
Verizon SIM card installed.
Signal almost 100% (-51db).
Powered up connects to Verizon(green light flashing)
Data Mode- responds with IP from Verizon… no problem
However
Registration - Denied … NO SMS/Text mode.
Contacted Verizon… After 9 days Verizon has no answer /does not know why … can you help ?
Need to use this for Text messaging. Thank You

Does anyone know why this customer is not getting a response from Verizon , or how long it takes? Thank you.
It could be the code still needs to be activated but not sure. I would probably check with Mason or Cullen (PM) I know Mason may not be available though.

Which Sierra Wireless GL7500 model did you order?
Did you get the Verizon SIM card with the kit, or from Verizon directly, or thru a virtual mobile operator (RevX Systems, Hologram, etc)?

But…Yes that was all done/tried a week ago…
Signal is Excellent
The device connects to Verizon
AT+CGACT 1,3 activate PDP 3
AT+CGATT=1 attach
Then I get an IP address
unable to send SMS
AT+CREG - Register Denied
AT+CGREG - Registered in home network (GPRS)

Also PDP change was locked per AT+HBHV?
so I unlocked it
Then made the change
Then looked at PDP list …the change took ok
AT+CGACT=1,1 returned - error
My understanding is PDP 1 is for cell carrier use only
After rebooting the device
AT+CFUN=16
PDP 1 reverted back to
the string before the change was made
